The visitor center is open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, 9 am–3 pm with a one-hour closure Noon–1 pm. At the visitor center, pick up park information, a map, and trail guides. Watch the 15-minute park film, which tells the story of Abraham Lincoln's youth. The film is shown upon request up to 30 minutes before closing. The Memorial Visitor Center also contains two memorial halls and the park museum which contains artifacts and exhibits that portray the life of Abraham Lincoln.
