Betsy Ross House

A very interesting stop in historic Philly. I would suggest the audio tour or else it's a pretty fast tour as the house is very small and signs are available but not as specific as the audio tour. It wasn't very crowded at 11:30am on a Tuesday morning but the rooms were very small so only a line of 5-6 people was already considered crowded. They almost need to have a delay entry so that it doesn't cause a back up. I couldn't imagine if it was actually crowded on a weekend where their are more tourists. With that said, it was very interesting and educational. Must be able to do stairs. There are no elevators so it is not wheelchair accessible. The courtyard is very cute and has many chairs and tables to sit if it is a nice day. Betsy Ross' tomb is in the courtyard.

Great little museum; filled with a lot of interesting history. The Betsy Ross interpreter did a fantastic job! Staff was personable and helpful. If you read everything, it takes about an hour to go through.

The house and experience was very well done. We had a history buff with us, whom absolutely loved the experience. We were able to listen to an audio presentation with each exhibit, which was great. The performer who portrayed Betsy Ross was okay but could have engaged us instead of waiting for us to ask questions. Overall, I'd recommend visiting to all history enthusiast.

I didn’t realize Betsy Ross didn’t own this house, she rented with other people. This museum really humanizes her and how hard she worked. I also thought it was interesting that it seems she didn’t go by the name Betsy Ross. Small but worth a visit.

What can you say! I Love History Thanks for me paying attention in Wilson Junior High Mr. Johnson was my History Teacher! Betsy Ross House her and her husband were in the Upholstery business! Made First United States Flag with 13 Stars on it! They only made One Flag! They have a Souvenir Shop!

Worth a visit for the historic angle. Admissions a bit pricey at 15$ each. A cute shop attached

Coming in during the weekday, and got super lucky. I somehow caught a time (around 11am) between school groups! The house was practically empty. I got an audio tour, which was cute. And toward the end you get to "meet" Betsy. The actress had a warm demeanor and was very informative. You can tell she loves her job! (And I'm not just saying this because she gave me a paper star 😂) Had a great time. Learned a lot about one of the most famous women in American History!

Super expensive for what you get. It costs $30 for two adults and takes less than ten minutes to see everything. There’s no guidance, and some of the items looked like cheap plastic (like the vegetable in the basement and mouse plush). It didn’t feel authentic or educational at all. You can get the whole experience by looking at the photos on Google Maps. Total rip off.
