About
Who makes this, and why.
The Constitution App is published by Joey Towbin, an independent developer. It started as a companion for reading the Constitution and grew into a field guide to the places where civic life actually happens.
1. What we publish
The iOS app helps people read the Constitution, its amendments, and the founding documents with AI-assisted explanations, quizzes, and a daily civic learning challenge. This website is a directory of libraries, historic places, monuments, visitor centers, and government buildings across the United States, with descriptions, visitor information, and reviews.
2. Who publishes it
The Constitution App, including this website at theconstitutionapp.com, is an independent publication operated by Joey Towbin. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency. Questions, corrections, and partnership inquiries can go to joey@towb.in.
3. How the directory is sourced
Place listings are assembled from official and public sources, including the National Park Service and state and library directories. The source for each listing is shown on its place page. When something is wrong or out of date, telling us by email gets it fixed.
